What on earth is a tea room cafe? Anyway, l"Etoile remains one of the best restaurants I've been to. Consistently great food and great service.

L etoile is another gem we liked a lot. the service was good and and so was the food. We felt thathe owner really cared and it was visible in the food we had: the beef and fish were cooked to perfection. this restaurant is of NYC caliber. Our friends and us had a wonderful time . thank you.

As always, wonderful. The owner's presence enchants, the service is good, the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere lovely, the value is astonishing. The wine list is absolutely fantastic - and overall one of my favorites in the city. Would like to see the service back to a bit more French and a tiny bit more attentive, but this is a detail most likely due to off summer months.
