Too let down during restaurant week to consider going back. Smoked pork belly? Over cooked pork. I expect more from such a great place.

Food is absolutely delicious, service is impeccable, the dessert (virginia gentleman's cake) is to die for. If only I made more money...

Had a nice meal with friends, service was outstanding; Our waiter must have doubled as the sommelier as he was very knowledgeable both of wine in general and of their extensive wine list. Didn't need him though because their huge cellar had both our favorite red and white wines!!! (at 3.5x retail prices, but that happens).
I thought the food was very good, with much use of local seasonal ingredients. Venue overlooking the golf course is superb. Hotel staff couldn't have been nicer. Yeah, it cost a chunk... Especially with the nice armagnac to finish it all off.

We've eaten dinner at Fossett's three times this spring and every meal has been delicious - the foie gras appetizers are amazing, their seafood is excellent and the sommelier is extremely helpful and not at all pretentious. We asked him to recommend a mid-range red and he immediately provided a fantastic selection. Breakfast is also worth the trip.
