The service is outstanding, which is saying something in Charlottesville. The ribs were excellent.

The Boathouse never fails to deliver, the burgers are so good,my husband had a steak and it melted on your mouth.The grilled vegetables are such a nice change.The service is always right on, what a great experience.

The atmosphere at the boathouse is extremely interesting and enjoyable. It is sectioned in a such a way that allows it to have both a nicer fine-dining aspect for those looking for a good meal as well as a sports bar aspect for those of you who just want to go have drinks and catch a game. The food is excellent and they have one of the best steaks (for the price) in all of Charlottesville.

So good we came back the next night. Caesar salad is wonderful, and the dressing is apparently freshly made because one night it was lemonier than the next night. Hamburgers fabulous. Salmon moist and not overcooked. And the french fries! Thin, crunchy. We'll be back.
